A conference on creating a unified medical space for Ukrainian defenders was held in Lviv, attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense and military hospitals.
According to the Department of Health of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, this measure is aimed at uniting the country's medical resources to improve the provision of medical care to all citizens, including military personnel and veterans.
The conference participants discussed the development of cooperation between military and civilian medical institutions, the improvement of evacuation routes, the work of civilian medical institutions in the combat zone, as well as the issue of medical personnel in non-medical positions and the treatment of military personnel abroad.
Separately, issues related to the use of antibiotics for wounds, the approval of new clinical protocols for the treatment of combat trauma, and the implementation of a medical information system in military medicine were discussed.
