Ukraine may close the list of war sponsors due to pressure from France and China

Ukraine is considering the possibility of closing its blacklist of war sponsors due to the negative reaction of countries, in particular China and France.

It is noted that now Ukraine can not only stop the publication of the list, but also block the related website, which posted detailed information about the persons under Western sanctions, the companies and the origin of Russian weapons parts.

"The blacklist does not have any legal basis, but became an obstacle for approximately 50 large companies that worked in Russia and helped the Kremlin in the war in Ukraine, in particular, by paying taxes," the message reads.

"This applies not only to China, but also to other countries, in particular France, which is pushing for the exclusive exclusion of Auchan and Leroy Merlin from the list," the source added.
