Dmytro Lytvyn, adviser to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, denied rumors about the possible mobilization of 18-year-old boys. In his comments on the X (formerly known as Twitter), he said that such an assertion was untrue and unsubstantiated.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Blinken called on Ukraine to make "difficult but necessary decisions" regarding mobilization.
Earlier, Western mass media reported that the White House demanded from Kyiv to lower the mobilization age to 18 years.
Zelensky has already rejected such plans, demanding that the Americans first send the previously promised weapons.
Elon Musk, who is close to Trump, has also criticized the demand, so it is not known whether the new US administration will push it.
