Ukraine plans to open kindergartens at offices: the first institution will be in the Ministry of Education and Culture

Ukraine plans to open kindergartens right in office buildings, which will be an additional advantage for businesses in attracting employees. Deputy Minister of Education Yevgenia Smirnova told about this in an interview with the publication NV. She expressed her belief that such a step would allow mothers to be calmer, knowing that their children are close by.

According to Smirnova, the first such kindergarten is planned to be opened under the Ministry of Education and Science. Changes in the country, in her opinion, should begin with oneself.

"We want to give an opportunity to institutions, enterprises, any business that wants to become more attractive to its employees, to open a kindergarten. In this day and age, a mother will feel more relaxed and at ease when she knows that her child is in the same building. By the way, we plan to open such a kindergarten at the Ministry of Education and Culture, because changes must start with ourselves," Smirnova said.

She also expressed the opinion that without the development of preschool education, there will be no positive changes in society. As for her own son, the deputy minister noted that she would be happy to send him to a kindergarten at the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Smirnova also noted that she wants to achieve a change in the remuneration of teachers, so that it gives more freedom to communal kindergartens. She believes that preschool education institutions know better where to direct the premium fund. According to her, the draft law proposed by the Ministry of Education and Culture will allow the development of various forms of kindergartens, including small groups with one teacher for several children, which, in her opinion, can be useful in rural areas as well.
