Ukraine plans to produce thousands of long-range drones

According to information published in The Wall Street Journal, Ukraine plans to significantly expand the production of long-range drones in 2024. According to the publication's source, by the middle of the current year, the number of manufactured drones in Ukraine may reach about 500 per month.

This step shows Ukraine's growing interest in the development of the military-technical complex and expansion of opportunities to ensure the country's security. Unmanned aerial vehicles are becoming an increasingly important element of modern military operations, allowing them to conduct reconnaissance, provide fire support, and perform other tasks without risking the lives of military personnel.

The WSJ notes that the release of its own drones allows Ukraine to circumvent restrictions on the use of Western weapons for attacks on Russian territory.

Citing sources, CNN reported that a number of Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory were carried out with the help of drones using basic artificial intelligence.
