Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, speaking at the Munich Security Conference on February 17, stated the importance of having a sufficient number of air defense systems (ADF) to ensure the security of Ukraine and the ability to return millions of Ukrainians home.
Referring to doubts about the effectiveness of missile defense, Zelenskyy emphasized that systems such as Patriot and others can successfully counter any Russian threats. He expressed his belief that if there is a sufficient amount of air defense in Ukraine, the country will be able to ensure the return home of its citizens.
Zelensky also expressed his gratitude to European countries for their support of Ukrainian refugees and expressed the hope that all of them will be able to return home, and that the Ukrainian authorities will do everything possible for this.
In conclusion, he noted that restoring the independence of the Ukrainian economy from external support is an important aspect for the future of the country.
