Lithuania announced Ukraine's readiness to partially move drone production to its territory. This step is seen as mutually beneficial cooperation and preparation of the Western neighbors for possible military threats.
According to the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielus Landsbergis, the Ukrainians have shown interest in partially moving the production of drones to Lithuania. He believes that it is possible to discuss the joint production of drones, which reflects the interest of both sides. Landsbergis emphasizes that the Ukrainian experience in warfare is important to study, especially given the changes in the methods of warfare.
The minister pointed out that the Ukrainians, fighting against Russian aggression, showed that flying drones have become an important part of the military strategy. He called on Lithuania to learn from the lessons of the Ukrainian conflict, which showed the importance of using modern technologies in military affairs.
Landsbergis emphasized the importance of active cooperation with Ukraine and noted that Ukrainians are open to sharing experience and knowledge. Cooperation in the production of drones becomes part of a larger initiative that includes several NATO member countries and is aimed at supporting the defense sphere of Ukraine.
