Ukraine secretly transferred brigades near Kharkiv before the Russian offensive, - Sky News

The Ukrainian military has secretly redeployed units to the Kharkiv region to prepare for the expected offensive of Russian troops. This is reported by Sky News. According to information, the 57th military brigade, which is currently repelling Russian attacks on Vovchansk, was transferred to the north of the Kharkiv region on May 4-5. However, the fighters themselves believe that it should have been done earlier in order to have more time for preparation.

As the gunner Oleksandr told journalists, before the Russian infantry crossed the border, the Russian troops shelled Ukrainian positions with artillery for about 3 hours.

"Before the assault, we already hit targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, because we knew that they were gathering there. They brazenly assembled. For the first few days, the Russians stormed our positions in columns of 30-50 soldiers. We beat them," says the soldier.

According to the publication, now the artillerymen do not have enough ammunition, otherwise they would have caused much more damage to the Russian army. The advantage of the Russians in terms of fired shells is 5:1.
