Ukraine has made changes to the procedure for providing temporary housing for internally displaced persons

Ukraine has made changes to the procedure for providing temporary housing to internally displaced persons, the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories reported. In particular, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted new regulations, which include:

  1. Expanding the list of priority criteria for providing temporary housing for internally displaced persons. Now it includes families of servicemen from internally displaced persons, persons who have been re-displaced due to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, and internally displaced persons among the residents of the relevant territorial society, which provides housing from the fund affected by the destruction.
  2. Expanding the possibility of financing the housing fund for the temporary residence of internally displaced persons of the Armed Forces of the territories from which they moved, outside their jurisdiction. This will allow the ZMS to participate in the distribution of housing stock in municipalities that host internally displaced persons.

The Ministry of Reintegration emphasized that such a decision will contribute to effective accounting and provision of temporary housing for internally displaced persons.
