ZSU officer Ihor Lapin reported that the Russian occupiers are actively carrying out sabotage and intelligence operations in the Sumy region. He noted that Russian troops near the Sumy region are trying to accumulate forces in order to stretch Ukrainian reserves.
Lapin noted that the situation in the Kharkiv region served as a warning, as Russian troops managed to stretch Ukrainian reserves, partly thanks to the actions of special forces of the National Guard and other special forces.
He also noted that in case of problems in certain areas of the front, Ukrainian troops can be redirected from other areas. For example, when there were problems in Ocheretiny, the 100th separate mechanized brigade was sent there, which was removed from another section of the front.
Lapin also warned that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation could create another source of pressure on the Armed Forces of Ukraine by stretching their reserves. He emphasized that it is necessary to take into account the actions of the enemy and correctly distribute forces and means for an optimal confrontation.
