In Ukraine, in October 2024, more than 5.8 thousand new passenger cars were sold, which is 1% more than in the same month last year. This was reported by Ukravtoprom in Telegram. Compared to September 2024, consumer activity in the car market increased by 2%.
French company Renault became the leader of the new passenger car market, showing excellent results: 775 new cars of this brand were sold in October. The previous favorite, Toyota, came in second place with 679 cars sold.
Skoda took third place in the ranking, selling 402 cars. BMW with 397 cars and Volkswagen with 363 also made the top five.
The Renault Duster crossover was once again the best-seller of the month, selling 749 units. In total, 58.8 thousand new passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the year, which is 19% more than in the same period last year.
These data indicate a gradual recovery of the automotive market in Ukraine, despite the challenges the country faces. The growth in demand for new cars is a positive signal for the industry and indicates a recovery in consumer activity in Ukraine.
