In June, an experimental project was launched in Ukraine on the formation of air defense groups (air defense) as part of volunteer formations of territorial communities (DFTG). Its purpose is to strengthen the air protection of settlements with the participation of volunteers who are not mobilized.
Who can join?
Citizens of Ukraine aged 18 years of age are invited to participate in air defense groups. It can be:

persons with a delay from the call,

Book workers,
-
Citizens unusable by age or health service.
The main requirement is the desire to protect their community from air threats.
What does the state guarantee?
Air defense groups are guaranteed:

medical, professional and psychological checks before contracting;

training in certified schools;
-
participation in combat duty in the state air defense system;

monetary support;
-
additional remuneration - up to UAH 100,000 per month (accrued in proportion to the actual days of service);

Preservation of the place of work and position, according to Art. 119 of the Labor Code of Ukraine.
How to join?
To participate you need:

To become a member of the DFTG - to conclude a volunteer contract for a term of 3 years.

Submit documents to the DFTG at the place of residence.

If there is no DFTG in the community - to contact the local military administration with the initiative to create such formation together with parts of the forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces.
Necessary documents:

Statement to the DFTG commander (indicating the name, place of residence, education, work, VOC - if any, as well as motivation).

A copy of the passport.

A copy of the military accounting document (for men and women-if any).

Identification code.
-
Documents confirming the right to defer from mobilization.
After submission of the application, the candidates undergo medical, professional and psychological checking, make a contract, take the oath of volunteers of terroborons and receive a certificate of the DFTG member.
The project aims to attract motivated citizens to protect the Ukrainian sky, strengthen the safety in the field and at the same time give the opportunity to serve those who are not subject to mobilization.
