In the conditions of war in Ukraine, enterprises operating in active combat zones face serious challenges related to the mobilization of personnel. Denys Morozov, the first deputy general director of the Interpipe company, expressed the need for changes in the personnel reservation policy for enterprises located in such zones.
At the conference "Ukrainian export. The window is opening?", which took place in Kyiv on September 25, Morozov emphasized the importance of allowing enterprises included in the list of territories of active hostilities to reserve 100% of their personnel. Currently, according to him, it is allowed to reserve only half of the team, which does not correspond to the realities of work in the conditions of hostilities.
An example is the pipe factory "Interpipe Niko Tube", located in Nikopol, which is under daily fire from the Russian army. Morozov emphasized that there are few people left to work in the city, and those who remain are "real heroes" who ensure the continuous operation of the enterprise. Despite the difficult conditions, the plant has already returned to pre-war production volumes, but the current staff reservation system does not meet the needs.
Oleksandr Kalenkov, president of OP "Ukrmetalurgprom", also confirmed that at all enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex, which are recognized as critically important for the economy, an average of 20% of workers have been mobilized. This indicates an urgent need to review approaches to the reservation of personnel to support the economy in conditions of war.
