Ukrainian gymnast Taisiya Onofriychuk triumphantly triumphant at the World Gymnastics Cup in Bulgarian Sofia. For a 16-year-old athlete, this victory has become a debut at the World Cup stages in all-around, and it seems not the last.
Onofriychuk became the best in all four qualification disciplines: with a hoop, maces, ball and ribbon. According to the results of the speeches, she scored 114.450 points - and this allowed her to get around the main competitor, Bulgarian Nicolov (110.650).
In addition to gold in all -around, the Ukrainian resorted to all four finals of individual exercises. Its result has become the highest in the qualifications of all disciplines:

Another Ukrainian, Pauline Karika, ranked 12th in all-around with a result of 104.550. She also won the right to act in the final exercises with maces.
In general, the World Cup in Sofia became the second in the 2024/2025 season. Onofriychuk had already become a prizewinner at the stages of the series, in particular, won silver with maces and bronze medals with a ball and a ribbon in Baku, as well as bronze with a ribbon in Sofia last year. However, it is now that she first rose to the highest step of pedestal in all -around.
The Finals of the World Cup in Sofia will take place on April 6, and Ukrainian gymnasts will have a chance to replenish the medal piggy bank.
