Ukrainian sports legend Harlan denied rumors about the end of his career

Two-time Olympic champion, one of the most successful Ukrainian athletes, Olga Kharlan is not going to end her sports career. On the contrary, the 34-year-old saber is preparing for new starts and plans to compete at the Grand Prix stage in Orleans, France.

Preparation for the new season

The president of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Vadym Gutzait, confirmed that Harlan will take part in the tournament, which will be held from December 5 to 7 . This competition became a landmark for Olga last season, when she took silver and began a phenomenal year, culminating in two medals at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Despite the fact that Ukrainian saber fencers are not currently on the list of participants of the tournament, official statements indicate that Olga is ready for the competition and is determined to achieve high results.

Fake news about Harlan's death

Recently, Olga became a victim of fake information. False news about her death appeared on social networks, which shocked the athlete. In her address, Harlan called on her compatriots to check information more carefully, stressing the importance of combating disinformation.
