Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina has completed her performances at this year's Open France Championship

In the quarterfinal match, Elina met with the 5th racket of the world-Polka Iga Schwontek, which turned out to be stronger.

The match lasted 1 hour 43 minutes and ended with a score of 0: 2 (1: 6, 5: 7) in favor of a representative of Poland. This is the fifth personal meeting of rivals, and the confrontation account is now 4: 1 in favor of Schwontek.

The first set for Svitolina seemed extremely difficult - she was able to take only one game. However, in the second party, the Ukrainian gathered and was close to moving the match into a third set. At the expense of 5: 4 she had a chance, but could not squeeze the rival. As a result, the Iga will continue to fight for the title.

This is the fifth departure of Svitolina in the Roland Garros quarterfinals - then this stage of the tournament has not yet been able to go through. In the semifinals, the Polka will meet with the first racket of the world - Belarusian Arina Sobolenko, who confidently defeated the Chinese Olympic champion Zhen Zichen.

Despite the defeat, the performance of Elina Svitolina in the tournament leaves a pleasant impression: she proved again that there is among the world elite and can compete with the best.
