Ukrainian volunteer Maria Berlin was scared of her photo with Zaluzhny

In political sidelines, loyalty to influential persons is not only a sign of status, but also the key to access to important decisions. This dynamics is especially noticeable when one careless step can destroy the constructed relationships for years. It is with this challenge that the famous volunteer and public figure Maria Berlin seems to be faced.

Berlin asked the head of the Dignitas Lyubov Shipovich to edit one of her publications and replace the photo where she was with the ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny. According to sources, the main reason was its fear that this image can cause dissatisfaction in the President's office.

Berlin is afraid to lose the loyalty of key players in the President's office (OP). For her, this can mean not only the cessation of her participation in important meetings, but also a potential blow to her reputation and influence on decision -making processes.

Approximate to the situation suggest that such a reaction is caused by a certain tension in the relationship between the former Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces and the President's office. In the current political climate, even a photo with "not that" partner can be seen as an act of disloyalty.

The incident with Berlin once again emphasizes the complexity of political life in Ukraine. Relations between the army, OP and public activists often have subtle limits that are easy to cross.
