Ukrainian MPs in the US are demanding an invitation to NATO at the upcoming Alliance summit

The Ukrainian delegation of deputies in the United States insists that Ukraine receive an invitation to the NATO summit in July. People's deputy Yehor Chernev from the "Servant of the People" party reported this in an interview with the mass media.

"One of the points that we are now promoting here in Washington is that we still get a clear signal about our membership in NATO in Washington already in July this year at the summit. We understand that there will be no next membership day after the invitation. But we can have some concrete clear framework. I think that 2028 is an absolutely realistic framework," Chernev said.

We will remind that earlier the call to admit Ukraine to NATO by 2028 appeared in the report of the Yermak-Rasmussen group.

At the same time, Secretary General Stoltenberg already said that Ukraine will not receive an invitation to the NATO summit in July.
