Despite the war, the IT sector in Ukraine retains activity and remains one of the most stable areas of employment. At the same time, the level of income of specialists depends significantly on their place of stay - this is evidenced by a new study of the DUO portal.
According to a survey, 25% of Ukrainian IT professionals in Ukraine earn $ 1000-12,000, and almost half (50%)-not more than $ 3000 per month. Only 9% of respondents remaining in Ukraine have more than $ 6000 salaries.
For those who left abroad after the start of a full -scale invasion, the situation is different. Only 35% of these specialists have income up to $ 3000, and 19% receive more than $ 6000. This is because experienced technical professionals who can quickly adapt to the conditions of the foreign labor market were mostly traveled.
The gap between technical and non-technical professions in the IT sphere is also significant.
In Ukraine, 65% of non -technical specialists earn up to $ 2000, among the technical, this figure is only 33%. Abroad, the gap is even clearer: up to $ 2000 have 43% of non -technical specialists against 16% of technical ones.
Over $ 6,000 wages receive only 1% of non -technical workers in Ukraine and 6% - abroad. In addition, only 15% of non -technical specialists in Ukraine earn more than $ 3000, which confirms the uneven financial capacity within the industry itself.
However, non -technical specialists have positive dynamics. The share of those who receive less than $ 1000 decreased: in Ukraine - from 30% to 25%, abroad - from 11% to 7%.
Thus, IT remains one of the most profitable sectors, but the key opportunities and highest incomes are concentrated in the hands of technical specialists, especially outside Ukraine.
