According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Ukrainian Sea Baby naval drones began actively laying underwater mines in the Crimea region, which led to the destruction of Russian warships.
They planted more than 15 explosives of 180 kg on the routes used exclusively by Russian warships.
With the help of Sea Baby naval drones, 4 Russian ships were hit.
Namely, the corvette "Samum", the patrol boat "Pavel Derzhavin", a large tug that came after it, and one anti-mine ship. At the same time, "Derzhavin" was blown up twice.
The laying of mines began after the Russians built large barricades at the entrance to the port of Sevastopol after the first shock use of the Sea Baby.
Mines are made of plastic, weigh about 180 kg. They are reported to be difficult to detect as they sink in mud in shallow water.
