Law enforcement officers successfully eliminated a drug cartel that illegally manufactured and sold psychotropic substances. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.
As part of the large-scale operation, more than 230 searches were conducted in 20 regions of Ukraine, which led to the arrest of more than 60 criminals. According to Klymenko, law enforcement officers also liquidated 19 drug laboratories that produced almost a ton of amphetamine and Alpha-PVP every month.
According to the minister, the income of the criminal group amounted to more than 350 million hryvnias per month, which indicates the huge scale of their activities.
