Ukrainian scientists invented a way to reach Mars in 180 days

The idea of using asteroids to travel to Mars seems like science fiction at first glance. However, Ukrainian researchers proposed this solution as a real alternative to traditional space missions. Scientists have discovered more than 120 asteroids that could become potential routes for travel between Earth, Venus and Mars.

One of the main challenges of space travel is the large distance between Earth and Mars, which averages 225 million kilometers. Such journeys can last up to three years, which is a serious test for astronauts due to health risks, including loss of muscle mass and exposure to cosmic radiation.

However, if asteroids were used as "vehicles", the journey could be significantly shortened, reducing the time in space to 180 days. However, in order to realize this idea, several important problems need to be solved, including the selection of asteroids suitable in size and distance, as well as the development of technologies to protect astronauts from radiation.

Despite the difficulties, Ukrainian scientists hope that their research will help create new opportunities for space missions. They continue to work on creating a list of asteroids that can be used in future voyages. In addition, it opens up new horizons for the development of technologies that could change the future of space travel, creating new opportunities for exploring the universe.
