The Ukrainian military de-occupied part of Hlyboky in the Kharkiv Region

During the last two weeks, the Ukrainian military de-occupied part of the settlement of Hlyboke in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by Oles Malyarevich, deputy commander of the Akhiles assault battalion of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade (OShBr), on KYIV24.

"We de-occupied part of the territory, namely Hlyboky. This is a very important settlement. Currently, the enemy has pulled up significant reserves and is trying to regain lost positions. Now there is intense fighting on their part. We are on the defensive and reliably hold the line of defense," Malyarevich noted.

He specified that, in particular, the 11th tank regiment of the Russians is in this area, but the enemy constantly rotates its forces. "The marines worked for a long time, now they are partially replaced by motorized rifle divisions. That is, those who have war-ready equipment are sent. Now even "Ahmad" has come in to strengthen our positions," the soldier added.

Malyarevich emphasized the importance of Hlyboky: "It is a small settlement, but very important. Both parties understand this. That is why the fighting is going on now. I think Ukrainians will hear about Hlyboke for a long time, what is happening. If this settlement is not de-occupied, then there is a direct road to the border. They understand this and therefore cling to it with all their might."

The occupiers are trying to break through to Vovchansk

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Liptsi last day. The "Kharkiv" OTU reported that in Vovchansk, the enemy continues its assault in the area of a multi-storey building.

It was also noted that in the area of Glyboki, the movement of enemy personnel is sporadic due to the high activity of the Defense Forces strike UAVs. There have been cases of Russian army servicemen refusing to perform combat missions.

In the message of OTU "Kharkiv" it is said that near Lukyantsi, the enemy regrouped the assault groups of the 7th separate motorized rifle regiment of the 11th army corps and changed the positions of mortar calculations.

The defense forces of Ukraine adequately respond to the actions of the enemy and continue to destroy the manpower, weapons and military equipment of the Russian occupiers. According to data as of August 31, the enemy's losses (irreversible and sanitary) amounted to 104 people, of which 38 were irreparable, sanitary - 66. Also, in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy lost 70 units of weapons and military equipment destroyed and damaged.
