In connection with the recent events in the Kupyansk direction, Oles Malyarevich, deputy commander of the Achilles strike unmanned aerial vehicle battalion of the 92nd separate assault brigade, reported the absence of territorial gains by Russian troops.
"The enemy's goal in the Kupyansk direction is completely clear - to capture the left bank of the Oskil River. The occupiers, despite their losses, continue to move towards this goal. In recent days, they have not had any territorial gains," he noted on Espresso.
New assaults are being prepared
According to Malyarevich, the Russian occupiers are preparing new attempts at large-scale assaults. “And so far, there are small enemy groups that are trying to pass from the left or right with infantry, somewhere with one infantry fighting vehicle. We are observing all this, conducting reconnaissance and working out what we see,” he emphasized.
An important aspect for Ukrainian units is the destruction of Russian electronic warfare equipment. “Russian electronic warfare equipment is constantly being destroyed, not just suppressed, because this is the key to the success of the actions of Ukrainian units,” the defense minister added.
Powerful assault and serious losses
Recently, Russian invaders carried out a powerful assault in the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region with the support of dozens of armored vehicles, but suffered serious losses. The commander of the Achilles battalion of the 92nd Armored Brigade, Yuriy Fedorenko, reported that more than 30 units of enemy equipment remained on the battlefield forever. He emphasized that in total, the enemy used more than 50 units of armored vehicles during the assault operations.
The situation in the Kupyansk direction remains tense, but thanks to the efforts of the Ukrainian military, the enemy suffers serious losses and cannot achieve its goals.
