The famous Ukrainian theater and film actor Andriy Valenskyi, who defended the country after the Russian invasion, was seriously wounded during the fighting in the Donetsk region. He is currently in a hospital undergoing treatment and rehabilitation.
Actress Rimma Zyubina spoke about Valensky's serious injuries on her Instagram page.
"It happened in the Donetsk region between Klyshchiivka and Ivanivskyi.
Andrey Valensky has a brain injury, a contusion, a broken and stitched face, a broken nose, a broken left arm, a burnt right arm, and a shattered right thigh." she wrote.
Also, the information about the injury was confirmed by his colleague Artem Myaus, writing on Facebook: "Where else would we meet. Andriy Valenskyi is alive! A little tired, but alive! Restored in Kyiv".
According to acquaintances of the actor, he needs an operation and long rehabilitation. Colleagues and friends of Valensky actively collect funds for his treatment, express their support and wish him a speedy recovery.
