Ukrainian business faces problems of booking employees

In recent weeks, Ukrainian business has faced difficulties in the process of booking employees for military service. This information was confirmed by the European Business Association, noting that the situation may affect the activities of enterprises in Ukraine.

"The problem is becoming systemic. In fact, the decision to reconfirm the status of a critical enterprise is simply "hanging" in the relevant authorities," the EBA said in its appeal.

According to the message, as of mid-2024, 86% of surveyed member companies of the Association have employees in the ranks of the Armed Forces.

In half, namely in 52% of companies, the number of mobilized employees reaches 10% of the total number of conscripts. In 28%, the number of mobilized people reaches 10-20%, in 6% - 20-40%.

In about half of the companies, namely 46%, among the mobilized or volunteers there are specialists who are critical to the operation of the enterprise.

It was previously reported that on Zelensky's initiative, reservations were suspended for the duration of the audit of critical enterprises. Then the Ministry of Defense denied it.

But, as we can see, the problems with the reservation still started.
