After a number of scandalous cases and repeated conflicts related to the TCC, the Ukrainian parliament initiated an initiative to reduce the powers of this body. This was stated by Yehor Chernev, Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of the Council, during the telethon.
Chernev recalled the fight between ambulance workers and the TCC that took place on June 11 in Odesa. At that time, the military personnel of the Kyiv Central Committee and the Odesa SP detained and detained for several hours the paramedics who had arrived on call.
"It's a really shameful situation when the military is fighting with doctors - I've never seen anything like this," Chernev said.
He also noted that the special committee of the Verkhovna Rada is currently working on options to prevent such situations from recurring in the future.
"And one of the options - so far at the level of discussion - is the transfer of the functions of the TCC to some civil bodies. That is, it is possible to withdraw from the Armed Forces or from the Ministry of Defense. But this is one of the options," said Chernev.
And we will note that after the law on mobilization, the TCC officers-policemen became a new elite, virtually untouchable and very deeply corrupt. After all, now the country is experiencing the biggest deficit in people, and they manage this resource.
