The director and artistic director of the young theater, as well as a teacher of Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television named after IK Karpenko-Kary, Andrei Bilous, was removed from work on charges of sexual harassment and Harasment. This was reported by the Assistant Rector of the University Olga Sukhova in an interview for publication Public.
The claims of claims were submitted by one of the students of the university, which posted a video where she tells about intimate reports from Bilous, as well as an intimate photo that the teacher sent to other students. According to her, Bilous made her sexual hints.
The university immediately started a check -up check. Olga Sukhova noted that Belous was interviewed and the case file was transferred to law enforcement agencies for further investigation. All this time he will not work with students until all circumstances have been clarified. As soon as the fact of the offense is established, the university will make the appropriate decision.
In addition, the university is being implemented new measures to prevent such incidents in the future. In particular, it is planned to install video surveillance cameras in university premises, prohibit communication between teachers and students outside group chats, as well as organization of explanatory work for teachers and students with experts.
The Bilous situation has attracted attention to the importance of ensuring the safety and comfort of students in the learning environment, and the university will probably continue to implement additional measures to prevent such incidents.
