In Transcarpathia, a SBU officer documented a State Security Service officer and then blackmailed and received almost $500,000, and a NABU officer documented him. After that, searches were conducted by NABU detectives.
The situation is very interesting: an SBU officer documented the illegal activities of an employee of the State Border Service of Ukraine, the head of the Solomonovo Border Service Department, Marushchak S.V. for a year and a half, but decided not to act in the legal field, but simply to blackmail him with the data obtained through Pankush S.V.
During personal meetings, Pankush told Marushchak how, where, and how much money would need to be transferred in exchange for the SBU officer's silence. In addition, he was given instructions on how to allow certain cars with contraband through the Tysa checkpoint.
According to the data I received, Marushchak transferred $5,000 to the SBU officer's crypto wallet, and over time, he sent as much as $358,000 in various tranches.
The SBU officer, through Pankush, knowing that every month Marushchak receives about 40-50 thousand US dollars in illegal benefits from his work in the State Border Service of Ukraine, continued to extort money from the latter.
This time, he demanded another bribe of $58,000. This illegal scheme was successfully documented by NABU officers.
What we have in the end: Marushchak is the head of the Solomonovo border service department who received about one and a half million hryvnias of illegal benefits every month and gave a 14.5 million hryvnia bribe to an SBU employee through Pankush.
An SBU employee who, instead of bringing the case to a conclusion, took a bribe of 14.5 million hryvnias, and then demanded about 2.3 million hryvnias, not including monthly payments ($5 thousand).
But there was also an NABU employee who successfully documented the entire illegal mechanism. And he documented for a long time how a border guard was "milked" by a whistleblower.
