For the first time in 14 years, Ukrnafta received a new special permit for gas and oil production

Ukrnafta received a new special permit for hydrocarbon production from the State Geology and Subsoil Service of Ukraine. This is the latest approval received by the company in the last 14 years.

According to Serhiy Koretskyi, the company's general director, the license gives Ukrnafta the right to develop 56.5 square kilometers of technological areas in the northeast of Ukraine. According to estimates, this will increase the company's total production reserves by 1.01 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 100,000 tons of oil.

The seller of the special permit was another state-owned company - a subsidiary of National Joint-Stock Company "Nadra of Ukraine" PJSC "Chernihivnaftogazgeologiya".
