"Ukrzaliznytsia" continues to adapt its services to the standards of European integration. thus, Russian was removed from the flowers, now information on travel documents is duplicated in Ukrainian and English.
Timur Tkachenko, deputy of the Minister of Communities and Territories, stated this:
"There is no longer dubbing in Russian on railway tickets. Now the information on the travel documents will be duplicated in Ukrainian and English."
He believes that "this is an important step in the framework of European integration."
"Refusal of dubbing in Russian is not only a symbolic, but also a practical step for establishing the Ukrainian language as the only state language. The use of English promotes integration into the international space, improves the convenience of foreign passengers and demonstrates European standards of service. This is not the final appearance of the ticket, it will be slightly improved, but the main thing now is the absence of Russian on it," Tkachenko added.
He also posted a sample of such a ticket printed for tonight's upcoming boxing match between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.
