Our source reports that Western intelligence agencies notified the Office of the President back in January that 5 cities in Ukraine were under threat at once:
Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Odessa.
Now it is clear in Kharkiv that it is being made uninhabitable, as well as a burden for the economy of Ukraine. Next are Sumy and Zaporizhia, where the situation is already difficult. In third place are Chernihiv and Odesa.
The source adds that there is a version that the Kremlin is trying to “deaden” the domestic Ukrainian economy, which will provoke a financial catastrophe in the country. It turns out that the entire country will depend on Western money, and partners will have to allocate not $3 billion for the maintenance of Ukraine, but all 10-15, because everything in Ukraine will be in a deep coma. This will hit the pockets of the “sponsors” or provoke a rebellion in Ukraine.
The Russians are hitting the Sumy region hard. They turned off the electricity in Kharkiv, they are hitting the energy infrastructure of “eastern/southern and central” Ukraine. Complicating the work of the entire energy system of the country. This complicates all processes in the country, slows down the economy even more, increasing the budget deficit.
This again, as in 2023, gave rise to rumors that Kharkiv would be attacked - encircled. Moreover, they would enter, in particular, through Sumy, where it flies constantly.
No one can say for sure, but the probability is there. Of course, the Russians can wait a little longer, because time is on their side right now.
The Ukrainian crisis is of less and less interest to the West, especially against the backdrop of Israel's "demarche," which raises the stakes in the Palestinian issue.
Add to this the Balkan issue and the ever-escalating Taiwan case. And you will immediately understand that the Ukrainian crisis may soon lose its relevance among Western sponsors, which will complicate the situation on the front for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. That is when the Kharkiv and even Odesa operations may occur.
