Although more than 700 thousand men have updated their data through the "Reserve+" application or the Central Military District, their rights and freedoms remain unchanged. Employees of the territorial recruitment and social support centers (TCK and SP) continue to detain such persons and deliver them to the military medical commission (VLK), said the head of the public relations service of the Sumy regional TCK and SP Oleksandr Bondarenko.
According to him, in order to avoid detention, one must have a military document with them, but most of those detained do not have it. The representative of the CCC noted that the police, which are part of the alert group, fulfill legal requirements and send citizens to the VLK if they do not have documents.
Bondarenko explained that the reason for delivery to the CCC may be the lack of current data on passing the VLK even after updating other data in the “Reserve+” application. He added that if a person has not passed the VLK or has not fully updated their data, the CCC suggests that they appear and pass the VLK, and if there are no legal grounds for a postponement, it sends them to the training center.
Therefore, updating data through “Reserve+” or the Central Administrative Center does not guarantee avoiding mobilization if there is no current data on the passage of the VLK, and the CCC continues to operate within the framework of the law.
