The government is considering the concept of introducing reservation from mobilization for men, who, according to the plans, have to pay taxes in the amount of 6-7 thousand hryvnias.
Oleksandr Bornyakov, deputy director for digital transformation and development of information technologies, announced this. According to him, the government is actively considering this idea and strives to implement it.
"We are developing reporting changes so that our system can automatically read data every month and output confirmation of men's booking and payment of their taxes," Bornyakov concluded.
It is worth noting that earlier proposals were made to introduce reservation of workers in exchange for high taxes. However, the chairman of the financial committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danylo Hetmantsev, noted that this is an unfair approach.
"This violates the basic principle of justice and equality for all that a country at war must uphold. When the country is attacked by war, all citizens must take part in the defense of the homeland, regardless of the level of income or status in society," the People's Deputy emphasized.
