The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved 22 scientific projects that will be implemented by state order in key areas: defense, medicine, energy, ecology and digitalization. More than 186 million hryvnias have been allocated for the implementation of these developments within two years. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to Fedorov, the government has introduced a new format of interaction with scientists. Previously, scientists independently chose topics for research, but now the state formulates specific technical tasks that require practical implementation.
"This is a new level of integration of science into the economy and defense, where developments go beyond theories and become concrete technologies," the minister noted.
Key areas of projects
- Defense and national security – 11 projects aimed at strengthening the country's defense capabilities.
- Energy - creation of technologies for obtaining hydrogen fuel.
- Digitization - five projects, including the development of artificial intelligence, analysis of big data and optimization of management processes.
- Agricultural production is a project aimed at restoring lands affected by hostilities.
- Ecology - developments related to overcoming the consequences of the destruction of the Kakhovskaya HPP.
- Medicine - creation of innovative methods of treatment and diagnosis of oncological diseases, rehabilitation using artificial intelligence.
The government expects that these scientific projects will not only strengthen national security, but also become the basis for economic development and technological breakthrough.
"In two years, we will see concrete results that will contribute to strengthening the country and solving global challenges," Fedorov concluded.
