US Ambassador on Russia's massive missile attack: Ukraine needs funding now

US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink expressed her reaction to the extensive missile attack by Russian occupation forces targeting numerous Ukrainian cities.

The diplomat published her statement on the social network Twitter (X).

On her Twitter page, she posted a screenshot of air raid warning messages that had arrived on her smartphone. “This is what Ukrainians saw on their phones this morning: millions of men, women and children are in bomb shelters because Russia is shelling the entire country with missiles,” she wrote.

Ambassador Brink expressed the need to continue funding Ukraine, which is actively resisting Russian aggression. “Ukraine needs funding now to continue the fight for freedom from such horror in 2024,” she added.

On the night of December 29, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, hitting Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odessa, Lviv, Zaporizhia, and other cities. According to the Air Force, the Russian Federation used virtually all available types of weapons.
