On July 19, the long-awaited heavyweight rematch between Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk and Briton Daniel Dubois will take place at the legendary Wembley Stadium in London. The title of absolute world heavyweight champion will be at stake.
Bookmaker analysts have already released their predictions: Oleksandr Usyk is considered the favorite of the fight. The probability of his victory is estimated at 1.20, while Dubois's success is 4.85. A draw, which happens extremely rarely in professional boxing, has a coefficient of 25.00.
The most likely scenario is an early victory for Usyk, i.e. a knockout, with odds of 1.80. His victory by decision is estimated at 2.55. On the other hand, a knockout from Dubois has odds of 8.50, and a victory by the Briton on points is as much as 12.00.
The first fight between Usyk and Dubois took place in August 2023 in Wroclaw, Poland. Then the Ukrainian knocked out his opponent in the ninth round, defending his WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF titles.
Oleksandr Usyk has an impeccable record of 23 wins in 23 fights, 14 of them by knockout. In his last fight in December 2024, he defeated Tyson Fury to become the absolute world heavyweight champion.
Daniel Dubois, 27, known as “Dynamite,” has a record of 22 wins (21 by knockout) and two losses — to Joe Joyce and Usyk. In September 2024, he sensationally knocked out Anthony Joshua to win and defend the IBF belt.
Tensions have already been building between the boxers ahead of the rematch: Dubois pushed Usyk during a duel of views and publicly insulted him at a press conference. Meanwhile, the organizers have released an official promo for what promises to be a historic fight.
