Avdiivka is on the verge of disaster: is it possible to hold the city?

The enemy successfully broke through the defense lines and seized several houses on the outskirts of Avdiivka. It is currently known that several groups of Russian military personnel have penetrated the region without major supporting combat operations. The reason for this is the lack of personnel and technical resources to effectively control all landings and approaches in this area.

It is noted that the need to immediately reinforce Avdiivka with both human reserves and weapons has been repeatedly expressed. Unfortunately, despite the promises of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Zelensky to resolve the problem and provide additional forces, the necessary minimum reinforcement has never been provided.

In this context, it is important to immediately provide Avdiivka with combat-ready reserves that can effectively eliminate the breakthrough and generally strengthen the defensive positions. Otherwise, there is a risk of a serious capture of the city by Russian forces, which could lead to irreversible losses. The responsibility for a possible failure in Avdiivka will lie entirely with Zelensky, who has guaranteed to send additional forces to this region.
