Employees of territorial procurement centers (TCC) have once again found themselves at the center of a scandal due to the forced mobilization of persons with reservation documents. People's deputy Roman Fedienko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, reported this.
According to the people's deputy, the military commissars refuse to recognize paper documents about reservations, motivating their actions by the fact that the data is allegedly missing from the electronic system "Oberig".
"They claim that paper documents have no legal force if the information is not reflected in the system. This is absolutely unacceptable and a gross violation of the rights of citizens," Fedienko emphasizes.
The deputy also criticized representatives of the TCC for abusing their powers. Fedienko was particularly indignant at the use of balaclavas by employees while performing their duties.
"Balaclavas are like a red rag for me! Are you hiding from your own people? If people can't see your face, how can they trust you?" - he remarked emotionally.
The "Oberig" system, created for the digitization of mobilization processes, was supposed to become a guarantee of transparency and efficiency. However, cases where booking data is missing or out of sync raise questions about its performance.
Experts point out that such situations create tension in society, undermine trust in the system and provoke abuse by the military commissions.
Roman Fedienko called on representatives of the TCC not to abuse their powers and to act exclusively within the law. He also expressed hope that the Ministry of Defense and law enforcement agencies will pay attention to such violations.
"Respect for citizens' rights should be the main principle in mobilization processes. Any attempts to avoid responsibility or to hide abuse only make the situation worse," the deputy concluded.
