Emergency power outage schedules have been introduced in Sumy and Poltava regions due to hostile attacks on energy infrastructure facilities. This was reported by the regional energy authorities.
According to the order of NPC Ukrenergo, on October 28, from 09:01, an emergency shutdown schedule has been introduced in the territory of Poltava region, in particular in Myrhorod, Lubny, Lokhvytsky, Hadyachsky, Hrebinkivsky, Khorolsky, Orzhytsky, Chornukhynsky and Pyriatynsky districts. The volume of unloading in these districts is 25 MW.
In addition, emergency outage schedules have also been introduced in the Sumy region. At 09:06, consumers in Konotop (5th turn) and Romensky districts (1st, 2nd turn) were without power.
As of 8 a.m. on October 28, more than 16,000 consumers in the Sumy region were left without electricity as a result of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine. This is yet another indication of how the war is negatively affecting the daily lives of Ukrainians.
