The Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration (OVA) has made changes to the Criteria for Determining Enterprises, Institutions, and Organizations That Are Important for Meeting the Needs of Territorial Communities. The new version of the document provides that enterprises that regularly provide charitable assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the amount of more than 100 thousand hryvnias per month will be able to receive exemption from mobilization for some of their employees.
According to the new criteria, the following categories have been added to the list of important enterprises:
- Management companies of apartment buildings that are legal entities;
- Enterprises engaged in forestry and logging activities on an area of at least 1,000 hectares;
- Enterprises that systematically perform work and provide services (including in the form of charitable assistance) necessary to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations, the total cost of which is at least 100 thousand hryvnias per month.
It was previously announced that businesses that are considered critical may be able to reserve 50% of their military-liable employees from mobilization. This decision is intended to support businesses that actively contribute to the country's defense capability, providing an additional incentive for their participation in supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.
Such measures are part of a broader strategy aimed at ensuring the stability of the economic situation in Ukraine in the context of war, as well as supporting important enterprises that make a significant contribution to the country's defense capability.
