In Kiev, lawyers traded closed information with the EDSR

The Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office, together with NABU, announced the exposition of three Kiev lawyers who systematically received closed information from the Unified State Register of Judgments (EDSR) - in particular, the future searches in cases of NABU detectives.

According to the investigation, from August 2022 to December 2023 a group of persons, which included the organizer and two performers, created a special software-including chat bot, which used the login and password of a judge of one of the Kiev courts. The attackers received access to the non -public part of the registry.

IT professionals with a criminal past were involved in the scheme, previously convicted of interference with information systems.

This tool allowed real -time to monitor the emergence of court rulings, in particular - on searches permission. Thus, attorneys received full texts of documents, including uninhabited names, addresses and other confidential data.

The information obtained was used in their practice: they warned customers about probable investigative actions, prepared for searches, or interfered with their conduct. According to the SAP, in a number of criminal proceedings, this deprived the investigation of the ability to achieve procedural goals - for example, to remove the evidence in a timely manner.

Particularly dangerous is that much of the fused information concerned cases under the judicial control of the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court - that is, the most resonant investigations of NABU.

The investigation is currently establishing a full range of persons involved in the scheme, as well as checking whether this information has been used in favor of the persons involved in top corruption cases.
