While the world is undergoing tectonic changes, the usual “mask show” continues in Ukraine. In Kyiv, employees of the Bureau of Economic Security (BES) are conducting searches at gas stations of “Transneft Service” and “Prom Oil”. The main complaint of law enforcement officers is the sale of diesel fuel without the necessary permits.
According to preliminary data, during the investigative actions, documents, equipment and fuel are seized. The work of these gas stations is actually blocked, but similar operations have already taken place repeatedly and have not led to global changes. In the capital, according to sources, there are about 30 gas stations that operate without proper documents.
The question remains: why were searches conducted only at certain facilities, while the rest of the illegal gas stations continue to operate peacefully? Some experts suggest that this may be selective pressure or another "market redistribution.".
The situation with illegal fuel sales in Ukraine remains acute. Similar cases are recorded not only in Kyiv, but also throughout the country, which indicates the systemic nature of the problem. At the same time, the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies in combating shadow schemes in the fuel market remains questionable.
