In Mykolaiv, a Renault Master truck was involved in an accident with a Fiat Doblo minivan on August 28. However, what was found inside the truck exceeded all expectations: in the body were 2.5 tons of frozen dog carcasses.
According to the information of the correspondent of "Novosti-N", which was provided at the scene of the incident, the cargo, which was supposed to be delivered to Odesa, became the subject of close attention after the accident. The cargo's destination was listed as a crematorium in Odesa, but details about the recipient and the purpose of delivery remain unknown.
We will remind you that the accident occurred in the evening of August 28 at the intersection of Tsentralny Avenue and St. 6th Slobidska Street in Mykolaiv. After colliding with a Fiat Doblo minivan, the Renault Master truck lost control and crashed into a pole. As a result of the accident, the driver of the Fiat Doblo and the passenger of the truck were injured.
According to representatives of the communications department of the Mykolayiv Oblast police, the cargo was delivered to Odesa for cremation, in accordance with the contract with the local crematorium. After the accident, the tow truck collected the truck with its specific cargo and it was re-routed.
"An administrative offense report was filed against the Fiat Doblo driver. Currently, we are finding out who is the owner of the cargo," the police said.
