Police are investigating criminal proceedings against counterfeit diplomas of higher education, which was probably used by the expirer of the mayor of Odessa Dmitry Zheman, now the head of the local branch of the Batkivshchyna Party. This is written by journalists of the personality 368.media.
As it became known from the investigation materials, Zheman submitted two diplomas to the department of the City Council: the first master, published by the National University "Odesa Law Academy", the second - about retraining issued by the Odessa National Economic University. Both documents raised doubts of law enforcement.
The police attracted special attention to the diploma of a specialist, allegedly published by the National Transport University in 2001. It was this diploma that became the basis for the further education of Zheman and obtaining a new educational level. But, as the investigation was established, Zheman did not officially study in this university, and in the magazine of his diploma his name is missing. Moreover, a personal matter for his name in NTU is also not stored.
Another detail that indicates falsification: the diploma is signed by the rector M.F. Dmitrychenko, who did not occupy this position at the time of issuing the document.
Despite numerous discrepancies, it was this document that opened the door to study at the Special Faculty of Retraining of the Onuu Personnel, after which he received another diploma, this time - already official, but again - on the basis, probably fake.
Currently, Dmitry Zheman has not yet been announced, but the proceedings under Part 3 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code (forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms) are ongoing. The investigation is considering that the career of the official could have been built on the system use of counterfeit documents.
It should be reminded that Dmitry Zheman is the former director of KP "Miskzeletrest" and the former deputy mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov, also known for his political activity in the ranks of "Motherland".
If the fact of falsification is proven, it can be not only about personnel fraud, but also about the responsibility for the illegal occupation of positions in local self -government bodies.
