Ukraine faces the risk of postponing the payment of salaries to civil servants and pensions to millions of its citizens in the absence of financial support from the European Union and the United States of America in early 2024. According to the information provided by the Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko, Ukraine needs foreign aid in the amount of $37 billion for the next year.
In the absence of financial support, the country may find itself in a situation of financial instability, which will lead to the postponement of payments and the restoration of the "survival" regime. Economy Minister Yuliya Svyridenko pointed out the importance of urgent assistance from partners, which is critical for stabilizing the economic situation.
"The support of partners is extremely important. We need it urgently," she emphasized.
It is noted that financial instability and a lack of external support can seriously undermine the economic situation of Ukraine, affect the lives of millions of citizens and cause a threat to its financial stability.
The Government of Ukraine is actively working to attract foreign investment and aid to overcome economic difficulties and ensure the country's financial stability in the near future.
