The coach of Kryvbas, Yuriy Vernydub, was recognized as the best coach of 2023 according to the results of a poll on the "Ukrainian Football" portal. This recognition was received by a well-known specialist for his active work and achievements in the football world.
In the voting, in which leading experts and journalists took part, Yuriy Vernydub beat other competitors and was recognized as the best coach of Ukraine. Serhiy Rebrov (Ukraine national team) and Yuriy Maksimov (Dnipro-1) took the second and third places, respectively.
Famous football personalities also expressed their choice. For example, Oleksiy Belyk from FC Shakhtar recognized Vernydub as the best coach, noting Yuriy Maksimov and Kalytvyntsev as well. Other experts, such as Yuriy Virt, Andriy Vorobei, Oleg Dulub, Vitaliy Kvartsyany, Oleksandr Kovpak, Viktor Leonenko, and Igor Surkis, also identified their top 3 coaches.
In addition, the "Ukrainian Football" portal also determined the top 10 goalkeepers of Ukraine in 2023. Yuriy Vernydub leads this list, ahead of Serhiy Rebrov and Yuriy Maksimov.
