In 2024, notaries of Ukraine certified a record number of contracts for the sale and purchase of real estate, which is 452 217 agreements, according to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. An important trend was that more than 60% of these agreements relate to land transactions.

452 thousand contracts of sale of real estate were carried out by notaries last year. This is 12% more than in 2023, but still 28% less than full -scale. 60% of all contracts are concluded for land. This is 1.5 times more than papers for apartments or homes: 273 thousand against 178 thousand transactions.
The purchase and sale of land plots per year increased by 18%: to 273 thousand transactions. Currently, such agreements are concluded 11% less than in 2021. Before comparison, then notaries testified to 306 thousand such contracts.
However, Ukrainians are in no hurry to invest in housing: in a year of such agreements increased by only 3%. Currently, the purchase and sale of apartments and homes remains 1.8 times lower than until a full-scale invasion.
At the same time, Ukrainians began to take mortgages more often - in a year of such agreements increased by 14%. These are almost 13 thousand objects. Preferably, the resumption of demand for the apartment for payment was due to the state program of Eosel: 70% or 8.5 thousand mortgages for housing were issued last year through the "Eosel".
