Large-scale inspections of officials for fake disabilities have begun in Ukraine. The inspections will affect both top officials and all civil servants. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk during a telethon covering the fight against corruption in the field of medical and social expert commissions (MSEC).
“The President was clear and I really hope that it was clear to all officials who participated in the NSDC meeting. Urgent and rapid checks for false diagnoses of all officials, starting with top officials. Bringing to justice those involved in falsifications and abuses, as well as urgent changes to the legislation. There is very little time for all this and the President is waiting for the result,” Vereshchuk said.
According to her, the government is responsible for legislative initiatives.
"In particular, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Policy must urgently submit amendments to the legislation, adopt them and put them into effect. We have a month to make such changes," Vereshchuk said.
Zelenskyy reported that during the NSDC meeting on the situation with the MSEC and abuses by officials of various state bodies in obtaining disability, a list of solutions was determined that will restore justice. In particular, this is the digitalization of the processes of passing all stages of medical and social expert commissions, and real verification of declarations of MSEC members.
