In Ukraine, large-scale checks have been launched to check officials for false disabilities. Inspections will affect both top officials and all civil servants. This was stated by the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Iryna Vereshchuk, during a telethon broadcast covering the fight against corruption in the field of medical and social expert commissions (MSEK).
"The president was clear and I really hope it was clear to all the officials who participated in the NSDC meeting. Urgent and rapid checks for false diagnoses of all officials, starting with the top officials. Prosecution of persons involved in falsification and abuse, as well as urgent changes to legislation. There is very little time for all this, and the President is waiting for the result," Vereshchuk said.
According to her, the government is responsible for legislative initiatives.
"In particular, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Policy should immediately submit amendments to the legislation, adopt them and put them into effect. We have a month for such changes," said Vereshchuk.
Zelenskyi said that during the meeting of the NSDC regarding the situation with the MSEK and abuses by officials of various state bodies with disabilities, a list of decisions was determined that would restore justice. In particular, this is the digitalization of the processes of passing all stages of the medical and social expert commissions, the real verification of the declarations of the members of the MSEK.
