In the Odessa region, a sabotage incident occurred on the railway the other day, the aim of which was to derail the train.
This was reported by sources in law enforcement agencies.
“The incident occurred on the night of June 24-25. At the Odesa-Zastava railway station, unknown persons installed special shoes to derail the train. The driver of one of the trains, which was traveling to the Odessa port, saw these shoes, applied emergency braking and managed to stop the train,” the source says.
A criminal case has been opened under the article "sabotage during martial law." Offenders face from 15 years to life imprisonment.
Previously, cases of arson of relay cabinets on the railways became more frequent throughout Ukraine.
